Kyle & Jenny Marti ~ Owners of Marti Acres
I have been raising Beagles since 1999 and added our Boston terriers to the family in 2008. These babies are my life, and my passion. Everything that we do revolves around the well being of our dogs. We eat, sleep and breath them. I met my wonderful husband Kyle in 2010 and he made me Mrs. Jenny Marti in the summer of 2015. He is now my sidekick with the puppies, he loves them just as much as I do! We are Missouri State licensed, as well as Vet and AKC inspected. BRED with H.E.A.R.T. breeder through AKC. We are members of quite a few Dog breeder's clubs around Missouri and I am the current treasurer to our local dog club T.H.E. Professional Pet breeders.
We definitely like to throw ourselves into our profession, we attend any educational seminars that is close to us, and we have now taken up showing some of our beautiful dogs when there are local shows in our area.
We try and have the best of health when we are pairing our parents, we have everyone OFA certified on their Hearts and Knees and whoever is old enough on their hips. We have DNA testing for breed specific problems to ensure our babies are healthy before they are even born!
I really believe that being a professional pet provider isn't just raising a few good puppies, a professional Pet Provider is- you are in it, like really in it, whole heart and soul. We think people can see that when they meet us and add our babies to their families.

Located Just outside of Lamar, Mo on 8 acres of peaceful country, we provide plenty of room for our puppies to romp and run! This helps our babies to be well rounded, socialized puppies. We even have 2 office kitties (Tuffy and Midnight) so they are raised and socialized with cats!
Marti Acres does not raise breeding dogs, we raise family pets. We have no guarantee that the pet you buy from us will breed and/or have babies. No Breeding Guarantee, Period. Our puppies are raised from DNA Health tested and OFA Certified Parents to ensure healthy and sound babies. We pre screen our parents with DNA testing for breed specific ailments. We also have their Hearts and Knees OFA Certified and once old enough we have Hips done as well. CAER OFA certification to certify Eyes free and clear of any defects.
Beagles are DNA tested for MLS (Musladin-Lueke Syndrome) and Boston Terriers are DNA tested for JHC (Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts) this causes a clouding of the lens of the eye due to a breakdown of tissue in the eye. This condition generally results in an inability to see clearly and can cause total blindness.
We have added DNA testing for DM gene (Degenerative Myelopathy) on our Boston Terriers.
We can guarantee our puppies to never be affected with non-carrier parents.
Our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club
We have a top-notch vet and program of care to ensure a happy, healthy puppy that will be ready for the transition to your home.
